They ensure that teaching standards are maintained, 

curriculum aligns with educational goals and 

standards, and that teachers have the resources

interpersonal abilities. They must also have

a deep understanding of the educational

system, as well as the latest research and

 trends in education. They are often required

 to have a master's degree in education,

curriculum and instruction,or a related field,

and to have several years of experience

in teaching or curriculum development.
